Compliance Standards

Compliance Standards There are 107 products.

  • International Compliance Standards (IEC/EN)

Nowadays, it is good practice to certify any consumer product, be it commercial electronics or an electric guitar. Posting the CE, UL or other compliant mark on your product is looked at by distributors and consumers alike. Even though there are thousands of standards for the variety of applications and industries, many EMC, EMI and RF tests refer back to the international compliance standards available at The EMC Shop.

  • Product Standards

Industry specific products include electrical equipment for medical devices, automotive and transportation, and basic consumer products. The EMC Shop will help pinpoint the required test equipment for certifying or evaluating your product in order to obatin certification.

  • Military & Aerospace Standards
These standards establishes interface and associated verification requirements for the control of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) emission and susceptibility characteristics of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical equipment and subsystems designed or procured for use by activities and agencies of the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Automotive EMC Standards

With the rise of electrical vehicles more test standards are rising to ensure safety. The EMC shop is supplying test equipment for traditional automotive standards ISO 7637 as well as for specific applications including wireless RF immunity and emissions as well as surge protection during charging.

  • CISPR Standards

CISPR Standards set for controlling electromagnetic interference in electrical and electronic devices, and is a part of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

  • Telecom Testing

Telecom Testing EMC requirements for information technology & telecommunication equipment.

The EMC Shop stocks electromagnetic environmental equipment for classes of telecommunication equipment covering all relevant electromagnetic environmental parameters. This Recommendation applies to telecommunication equipment installed in telecommunication centres, outdoor locations and customer premises. This is a basic EMC Recommendation for telecommunications.

  • ANSI/IEEE Standards

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a private non-profit organization that oversees the development of voluntary consensus standards for products, services, processes, systems, and personnel in the United States.

IEEE is an organization composed of engineers, scientists, and students. The IEEE is best known for developing standards for the computer and electronics industry.

  • FCC Part 15

FCC Part 15 regulates low power, unlicensed devices that could cause interference to the Amateur Radio Service and vice versa.

FCC Part 15 covers an assortment of electronic equipment that generates RF energy whether it's intentional, unintentional or incidental. Amateurs will need to consider Part 15 as it relates to digital devices, computers, low-powered, unlicensed transmitters, electrical devices and any other "generic" device that might generate RF in the normal course of its operation.

Rent, buy, or lease FCC Part 15 test equipment for radiated and conducted emissions measurements. The EMC Shop stocks calibrated equipment.
