Most common standards used include IEC/EN 61000-4-3, MIL-STD 461 RS101/03/05, SAE J113/4, ISO 11451-2, ISO 11452-4/5 and CISPR 20.     Electromagnetic immunity (EMI) involves both E-Field (Electric) and H-Field (Magnetic) antennas capable of handling input from high power RF amplifiers. Most modern EMI antennas are exteremely broadban cutting down the amount of antennas (cost) and time to setup and recalibrate your shielded environment.



    EMI Antenna Type's

    • BiLogs: Combining biconical and log periodic chassis to cover most commercial compliance requirements.
    • Horn Antennas: Ideal for high frequency susceptiblity testing - typically for Military and Avionic standards.
    • Monopoles: The most efficient way to transmit in low frequency ranges (non-directional)

  • GTEM Cells / TEM Cells

    Transverse Electro-Magnetic (TEM) cell for EMI and EMC testing. Also known as the Crawford Cell. The TEM cell is used to generate accurate electro-magnetic waves over a wide frequency range: DC (0 Hz) to several MHz. EM waves generated in the cell propagate in transverse mode and have the same characteristics as a plane wave. It can be used to calibrate E-field broadband probes for testing radiated E-field immunity as well as for measuring radiated emission from a product with a spectrum analyzer/EMI receiver.
