EMC Test Design RPF-05M Description:

The Model RFP-05M operates with and stores the data using multiple probes, both current one and future model designs.

It has a large dynamic range with auto-ranging and auto-zero functions, offering high accuracy and simple operation.

It features advanced programmable data sampling with time and space averaging, and also allows monitoring and recording of time-variable signals. Internal data logging via a removable flashcard memory offers programmable and virtually unlimited data storage.  A serial bidirectional data port and IR remote control facilitates PC data transfer and wireless instrument control.  A bright color OLED display with excellent visibility can display only the information important to the user.  Model RFP-05M’s portable lightweight design with detachable isotropic probe and two-cell AA primary or rechargeable battery offers flexibility and convenience for field use.

 
SFD can be used for evaluation and measurements of EM fields for:

Model RFP-05M is a development of the model RFP-05 and has two main advantages:

 
1. Compatibility with Insulated Modem (IM) accessory, allowing both fiber optic and USB RF isolated bidirectional control and battery charging without any additional wires coming out of the meter.
 
2.  Graphical display to plot the data real time.
 
Operates with and stores the data of multiple probes, both current and future models.

Calibration factors for multiple probes are stored internally and can be updated from SD card by the user.

  • Unique auto-zero function can be operated either automatically or manually even in the presence of the strongest RF fields, thus ensuring the high sensitivity and long term stability.
  • Serial bidirectional data port with IM Insulated Modem option can be used for PC bidirectional data transfer and instrument control.  Choose between RF isolated USB option (IM-USB) or USB and fiber optic accessory link (FOLK-02).
  • IR remote control allows SFD control and operation from a distance – no hands, no wires (Optional).
 
Sound alarm with variable threshold warns if the preset level is exceeded.
 
  • Portable lightweight design with detachable isotropic probe and standard battery (two AA primary or rechargeable cells) offers flexibility and advantages in the field.
  • SFD can display the data both in field strength and power density units.
  • Bright color OLED display can be set do display only the information important to the user. Maximized display mode ensures good visibility from a distance.
  • User friendly interface puts all frequently done functions at the upper screens making them easy to find and to use.
