Description
After the long use of surge protection device, fire may occur due to leakage current, power consumption and temperature caused by aging of materials. Thermal stability tester is to simulate increasing leakage current of SPD to check if DUT can trip automatically during heating situation to prevent fire. It is mainly used to conduct thermal stability performance test for low voltage SPD and piezoresistor.
